Samantha Eakes is a Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Greenleaf Health.
A graduate of the Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH), Samantha recently received her Master’s in Public Health (MPH). Through her studies, Samantha gained critical public health knowledge that has allowed her to effectively consult with clients, develop communications and advocacy strategies and conduct research and provide regulatory insight.
During her graduate studies, Samantha concentrated on social and behavioral sciences. To support her continued education, Samantha designed several public health campaigns intended to positively impact patient outcomes and foster community health. Each campaign focused on patient impact, communications strategies and the promotion of long-term community empowerment.
Prior to joining Greenleaf, Samantha served as an intern with Arts for Dementia, an organization that provides art and music therapy for individuals living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. In this role, Samantha helped expand organizational partnerships, facilitate group workshops and conduct surveys with workshop participants. Samantha has also traveled to South Africa to study community health issues in rural populations.
Samantha gained policy and advocacy experience as an intern at Management Sciences for Health (MSH). During this internship, she served as a MSH representative at several conferences and meetings sponsored by U.S. Government agencies. Additionally, Samantha researched and created briefing materials for MSH meetings with congressional staff and wrote several articles for the organization’s internal website.
Prior to completing her MPH, Samantha received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
